PSE Medal

In 1986, the Committee of the Phytochemical Society of Europe authorised the production of the medal shown above, based on a design produced by Mr R Dutton and Dr J. R. Gallon. The medal, which is struck in silver, shows an oak tree, representing plant science superimposed on a map of Europe.
It is the intention of the Committee that the medal will be awarded from time to time to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the Society or to the furtherance of plant science in general.
